First Winter in Puebla

The weather doesn't exactly change very much here, so it being my first winter here doesn't say much.

Life has been pretty uneventful for Pancho and me, which isn't a bad thing at all.  He's been learning a lot at work.  It's definitely not a career that he wants to do for the rest of his life, but it's been great experience (and we need to keep reminding ourselves of that when it's not particularly enjoyable) and that's exactly what he wanted.

I've been going horseback riding about 5 times a week, which is awesome.  I really have a lot of fun with it.  Hopefully next week I'll be in my first competition, so I'm super excited about that.  In general, I'm just really grateful that I have this opportunity to practice a hobby before Pancho and I have a family.  One thing I like about it is the fact that I get to be around animals and the outdoors.  Pancho's allergies to animals and pollen has gotten a lot worse lately, so it's nice to be around the things I enjoy without worrying about Pancho not being able to breath.  We won't be able to have cats or dogs in the future, so I'll enjoy the horses while I can.  : )

There really isn't much else going on.  There's plenty things going on in our families and friends (like weddings and babies and people moving), so it's not bad that things are pretty quiet with us.  We plan on going to Orlando sometime this summer, but we're not sure when though.

Here's the only picture I've taken recently.  I took it today after horseback riding.  That's the Popo spewing out a lot of ash.  It makes me not so worried about air pollution when I see things like this.
